Gentlemen, history repeats? US administration officials are examining the possibility of creating "Hamas-free zones" in the Gaza Strip by expelling thousands of the group's terrorists abroad, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
According to a report, a special think tank offered the administration the idea that thousands of low-level terrorists would be allowed to leave Gaza for a third country, probably Lebanon or Qatar, in exchange for Israel's assurance of safety. The expulsion will enable the establishment of a civilian mechanism to replace the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.
