An indictment was filed against 19-year-old Shahd Svitat in the Haifa court. It was based on praise given by the young Muslim woman on Black Saturday, when Hamas launched its surprise attack on Israel. Svitat is accused of posting an Instagram story in which she incited and praised Hamas' actions. "The truth is that today is the most beautiful day in history in our age, it is the most beautiful morning and it is the most delicious coffee I have drunk, glory and glory," she wrote.

Two years ago, she revealed her opinions, protest and hatred of IDF soldiers when she posted a story about the death of sniper Barel Shmueli, in which she wrote: "The youth of Gaza wanted to joke with you, why would you die like that. I guess you can't be joking with you, soon with those with you."

Ahdab Hourani, 45, a blogger from Haifa with about 10,000 followers, posted praise, sympathy and support for the terrorist act carried out by Hamas on October 7 in the communities near the Gaza Strip. After her arrest, she told Judge Shlomo Banjo at a hearing at the Haifa Magistrate's Court: "I'm sorry for everything I did. I live alone, I don't have children." Judge Banjo was not convinced by the suspect's words, adding in his decision: "During her interrogation she did not express any regret for the act and vice versa."
