Defense Minister Yoav Galant took off today (Friday) from the Tel Nof airbase together with the commander of the 190th Squadron, Lieutenant Colonel A., to fly in a combat helicopter over the skies of the Gaza Strip, from where he watched the Israeli Air Force attacks against Hamas targets throughout the Gaza Strip.
During the flight, the Minister of Defense spoke on the radio network with the commander of the 551st Brigade, Colonel Ido Kass, who commands the forces in the Beit Hanoun sector. The defense minister expressed his appreciation to the brigade's fighters for their action to destroy Hamas targets in the northern Gaza Strip.

The defense minister said at the end of the flight: "Last night in the air force pit, I approved the continuation of the IDF's attack. This morning, we all saw the significance of the attacks, saw it in Israel and saw it in the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip."
