Iron Sword War - Day 56:8 Abductees were released from Hamas captivity yesterday (Thursday). The first two abductees, Maya Shem and Amit Sosna, were released in the afternoon and arrived in Israel, the Ministry of Health announced that the other six abductees had arrived at hospitals. The next list of abductees has not yet arrived, but it is estimated that the lull may last until Saturday.

02:49: Wolfson Medical Center enters the seventh phase, four returnees from the Gaza Strip in total. A total of two women were released from Sheba Hospital. Two other released prisoners were admitted to Soroka Hospital.

02:15 A.M.: Brothers Aisha (17) and Bilal (18) al-Ziadne, released from Hamas captivity, arrived at Soroka Hospital and met their family. Upon arrival, they underwent an initial medical examination, by a dedicated team, in order to assess their condition and the required treatment in order to provide them with appropriate medical and emotional care. According to the IDF Spokesperson, the four other abductees who were released are making their way to various hospitals.
00:58: IPS Spokesperson's Office: During the night, 30 security prisoners were released from a number of detention facilities: Damon, Megiddo, Ofer, Nafha, Ketziot and Ramon, accompanied by soldiers from the Nachshon unit of the IPS and with the assistance of the Israel Police.

00:49: Shaare Zedek Hospital issued a statement stating that the civilian who was critically wounded in the attack yesterday morning (Thursday) and died of his wounds was Yuval Doron Castleman, an attorney at the Civil Service Commission. Yuval noticed the incident from the other side of the road while driving to work at the government compound and stopped his car to neutralize the terrorists. His family said of him: "He was always a hero and the first to leap to save lives, and he did the same this time."
