The terrifying scenes seen on the streets of the United States and Europe since October 7 mark the fault line of the Western world. The one that has been exposed and reached the world's consciousness precisely since Hamas attacked us. For some reason, the images of violent demonstrations by Muslims, along with the hatred of extreme leftists in the West, are so surprising and frightening. But they are nothing new – they are a clear threat to the existence of the enlightened world, which has not really emerged recently. Not on American campuses, and not in the squares of Paris and London.
Everything existed and was known for years, and was widely scratched and blood-curdling, but was ignored to the point of hostility by the establishments and the media. The Western world has been warned about the liberal fascism that is now marching in the streets and nesting in the camp of the American left. This, among other things, leads to anti-Semitism that loves Muslim terrorism.
The world has also been warned about the radical suicide process of Europe, which has been flooding itself for decades with masses of Muslims, giving up its values and being dragged into the depths of radical Islam. But the "enlightened" world did not want to hear, and was only now opening up to listen and respond. It is unclear whether the current awakening will succeed in stopping the destructive processes and saving Western Europe.

Two books written in recent years, in England and the United States, were enough not to be surprised by what has erupted on both sides of the ocean in the past two months. One was written by Douglas Murray - a brilliant British writer, who has been by our side in every forum since Black Saturday, and has even visited the sites of atrocities near Gaza in recent weeks. About six years ago, Murray published The Strange Death of Europe, which reveals the process of collective suicide of society and politics on the Old Continent.
The book points out in great detail the source of the masses of Hamas-loving Muslims who are now running amok in the streets of classical Europe. It is replete with startling data, the product of decades of suicidal conception by the European leadership and elite, who together established a mechanism of self-destruction and imported masses of hostile Muslim immigrants, until they became the majority in major cities and changed the collective way of life, and now grip the throat of local politics.
At the same time, a cultural-ideological dictatorship was built, forcing society to adopt one "right" set of values that sanctifies national suicide. And anyone who dared to deviate from political correctness was labeled an extremist, a fascist, and expelled from the camp. At the same time, the top echelons of the "advanced" world denied that most of these immigrants did not seek to integrate, but rather to uproot European culture and take over the country to which they immigrated. Europe has ignored the hostile entities that have been established within it, growing stronger and threatening its very existence.

The second book that predicted the roots of this madness was written 15 years ago by the American scholar Jonah Goldberg. It was also translated, and published in Israel by Sela Meir. Goldberg points to the foundations and fascist anti-democratic character of the liberal-progressive camp in the United States and Europe – liberal fascism. He dismantles one by one the fabrications that served as the basis for what is now being exposed in America's elite universities. Those who established the Faculties of Science of Anti-Semitic Attacks and the poetry "From the River to the Sea." With astonishing breadth, Goldberg dismantles the notions of the American progressive left, demonstrating how anti-tolerant, coercive and dictatorial its values are. In short - everything that is attributed to fascism.

The pro-Hamas rampage of the American left confirmed Goldberg's claims and flooded everything. The demonstrations, the persecution of Jews, the denial of Israel's right to exist, the silence of the "human rights organizations" regarding the atrocities of Hamas. Everything exploded, illuminating the cultural deception of opinion leaders in the West.
This also proved the extent to which the camp, which was considered enlightened and set the agenda in recent decades, led patterns of blindness, coercion and anti-democracy. Everything that castrated European society, and made it not cope with the suicidal illness it brought upon itself. Everything that led the towers of education in the United States to become strongholds of the destruction of free thought and democracy.
Waking buds
Fascinatingly, the signs of the disease in Europe and the United States erupted precisely because of the attempt by Hamas monsters to destroy the State of Israel. So are the signs of awakening and soul-searching of free civilization on both sides of the ocean. For various reasons, Israel and its attitude have become a test – a test of sanity, along with the recognition that the forces of light must defeat the forces of the Islamic black.
A week ago, the dramatic achievement of veteran Dutch politician Geert Wilders, who is expected to be the next Dutch prime minister, was recorded. His victory is directly related to Hamas' monstrosity and the exposure of the true face of the Muslim masses in Europe since the massacre in the envelope. Wilders received votes because he has been warning for years about the strengthening of Islam in Europe, while at the same time being connected with every fiber of his soul to the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
The overwhelming sympathy for Israel in the German government and public over the past two months is also directly related to the recognition that has suddenly penetrated all avenues of German politics and society. The understanding that the axis of evil nests in their homes, and that it is directly connected to that of Iran, Russia, Hamas and others. The same is true in Sweden, where a few days after Black Sabbath a new government was formed, leading a policy opposite to that of its predecessors, especially with regard to Muslim immigration, along with heavy punishment for criminals and rioters. In Germany, Sweden, the British political elite and elsewhere, a lot of tokens suddenly fell.

The United States is also undergoing a makeover. A blatant illustration of this was the cancellation of wholesale donations to anti-Semitic elite universities, along with the boycott lists against hiring students who identify with Hamas and the Palestinians. These are all steps that would have been unimaginable before October 7, and they reflect a profound change. We are rightly appalled by the demonstrations of keffiyeh-clad terrorists on campuses and in the centers of democratic states in the United States. But they frighten most Americans, who understand that this is a war for home. Press reports mainly point to the dark side of the moon, but there is a bright side – and it is evident in most parts of the United States, where Israel has tremendous sympathy. I notice it in the many messages I get from Americans I interact with, most of whom are neither Jewish nor evangelical Christians.
Convolutedly, the offensive in the Holy Land became a milestone in Western history. It is precisely from the realms of the Bible that the fault line that threatens the security, political and moral situation of the free world has been revealed. The Israeli fault line corresponds in an astonishing way with the watershed of the entire world, the line of war for home, life, freedom and all the values that serve as air for us to breathe.
