An assassination squad of a criminal organization was apprehended on Friday by Northern District police officers at the end of a mounted chase that included shooting, allegedly on their way to commit murder in revenge for the shooting incident in Nazareth. Four suspects were detained in a bulletproof vehicle and Kalashnikov weapons were seized.

The suspects, who were traveling in a bulletproof vehicle, were identified by the forces and began fleeing while attempting to flee from the police. While chasing the vehicle, the officers fired at the wheels of the armored vehicle until it stopped and the squad was arrested.
The war of criminal organizations has no limits
The four suspects (19,26,30,38), residents of um al-Fahm, Jaljulia and Nazareth, were detained and Kalashnikov weapons were seized. A search of the vehicle yielded additional findings. The four suspects were remanded in custody at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court until Thursday.

After the suspects were remanded in custody, Police Northern District Commander Commissioner Shuki Tahauka said: "We see once again that the war of criminal organizations knows no bounds. Had it not been for the courageous action of the police, we might now be at a completely different end to the event, including loss of life. We are acting in intelligence and using all our forces on the ground in order to prevent the continuation of the killing and violence and to crush the criminal organizations."
This morning, a 40-year-old man was shot dead in an industrial zone in Baqa al-Jarbia. Medical teams were forced to pronounce the victim dead at the scene.
