(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 2 - A renewed bout of bad weather hitseveral Italian regions on Saturday.
In Liguria there were wind gusts of up to 143 km/h while maritime traffic was suspended in the port of Livorno in Tuscanyas a Libeccio wind reached over 50 knots, with waves over 4metres.
There were over 300 fire brigade interventions in the Marcheregion, for damage and disruption caused by strong winds.
Another 150 interventions took place in the Rimini area, wherethere was a widespread alarm for fallen trees.
There was snow chaos in the Tyrol and South Tyrol which wassplit in two, with 30 centimetres of snow at the Brenner Passand rain further south.
The inter-regional agency for the Po river launched an alert onthe rising waters in the rivers "in Emilia and in some cases inLombardy", in particular the Enza, a major tributary of Italy'sbiggest river. (ANSA).
