Against the background of the return of fighting at the end of a week of ceasefire, there are signs of a return to routine in the tourism industry. Last week we published here for the first time that the Spanish airline Air Europa will resume operating flights to Israel, tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) Ethiopian Airlines landed here after weeks of absence, and Fly Dubai is expected to double the number of flights to and from Israel tomorrow.
Alongside all this encouraging news, passenger numbers are being published today at Ben Gurion Airport, reaching almost 20,41 passengers who will pass through there during the day. This is the highest number recorded there in the past 22 days, since October <>.

Of the relatively high total number of passengers during the war, more than 10,000 will take off from Israel, and here, too, this is a very significant increase compared to recent weeks, since the numbers usually range from 5,000 to 8,000 departing from Israel a day during the war period.
This means that there are more Israelis who feel comfortable taking off for a short refreshment, and so do the various travel agencies, "There is a certain increase in bookings, not by much, but there are buds and this is encouraging, most book vacations for a few days for a short refreshment," say senior figures in the industry.
The destinations to which the most Israelis will fly today are the United States, Greece, Cyprus, Germany and Italy. In addition, there are several departures to each of the following destinations: Georgia, Moldova (mainly foreign workers and continuing to Ukraine), Spain and the UK.
