Controversy in the Knesset after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks Saturday night at a press conference. Netanyahu was asked by an Israel Hayom correspondent about the difficult incident in the context of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's arms distribution policy, and replied: "The presence of armed civilians often saves lives and prevents a major disaster. In the current situation, we must continue with this policy. We may pay a price for it, that's life."
Netanyahu's remarks provoked many reactions from across the political spectrum, along with great anger from his family, who demanded a more comprehensive investigation into the suspicion of murder, and now comes the response of the chairman of the "State Camp."

In the shooting attack that took place on Thursday in Jerusalem, Adv. Castleman was shot dead after he was suspected of being a terrorist. According to a preliminary investigation of the case, one of the two soldiers who neutralized the two terrorists suspected that Castleman was another terrorist and shot him. The soldier will be interrogated under warning by the Military Police Investigation Unit.
