The investigation into the tragic killing of Yuval Castleman, who killed a terrorist in an attack at the entrance to Jerusalem, is ongoing with the Military Police. A reservist who was filmed shooting Castleman and a regular soldier are being investigated in the affair, and their weapons have been taken for examination. At this stage, the evidence is being examined from a legal, command and moral standpoint, due to the footage showing a soldier shooting at Castleman, even though he raised his hands.

The IDF continues to expand its ground maneuvers in the southern Gaza Strip, alongside fighting in the remaining Hamas strongholds in the north. In the maneuver, tricks are carried out in the way the forces move, so that it is not always clear to the terrorists which direction the fighters are coming from. The pause time was used by the IDF to learn lessons and collect intelligence information to streamline the attacks.
In the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF operates in Jabaliya, Shejaiya, al-Atatra, Zeitoun and the area of Ransti Hospital, where many terrorists were killed in the past 24 hours. In this area, Hamas used tunnels and control rooms damaged in the attacks. At the same time, the IDF acted against launching sites even before the shooting, and some were destroyed afterwards.

In addition, the IDF is working through Arab media channels to publish the latest evacuation map for the residents and to encourage Gazans to move to safer areas.
Since the beginning of the war, more than 10,000 targets have been attacked under the direction of ground forces, with emphasis placed on significant damage to the tunnel infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy visited the Air Force's operations pit today and held a consultation and assessment of the situation regarding increasing the pace of elimination of senior officials and streamlining the airstrikes. Among other things, intelligence and operational information about the locations of abductees is taken into account, and where care must be taken so as not to endanger them.
The IDF is preparing for continued fighting in the coming months, and consultations are being held on how not to erode the forces and to allow the economy to return to work. At the same time, the possibility of moving reserves of combat forces from one area to another is preserved.
The ship attacked today in the Red Sea by the Houthis has nothing to do with Israel, but it is an event that Israel will try to leverage as Iranian aggression directed at the entire world.
