A new initiative to rehabilitate Kibbutz Be'eri: The Tel Aviv Municipality announced a cooperation with Germany in the framework of which a new cultural center will be built on the kibbutz at an investment of €7 million. Liebling House, the architecture and urban heritage center of the Tel Aviv municipality, will cooperate with the German government and the German Federal Ministry of Construction in order to build a building that will serve as a "home" for the kibbutz's art gallery that burned down during the October <>th events and an "anchor" for the community.

A joint tour was held at Kibbutz Be'eri in which the outline for the future complex was presented, and attended by the presidents of the two countries among which the partnership agreement was signed: Isaac Herzog and Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Sharon Golan, director of the research laboratory at Liebling House, began promoting the idea with the center's chairman, the German secretary of state, and Federal Construction Minister Klara Gewitz. Thus, the amount that will be invested in the construction of the new center was brought to approval.

Beyond the symbolism of the project, which represents the depth of relations between the countries, this is a symbolic first step in the rehabilitation of the communities near the Gaza Strip and the hope of rebuilding them after the difficult events that took place there.
