"He told us not to worry":Orly, the sister of Sergeant Benjamin Joshua Needham (Benji), a soldier in the Corps of Combat Engineers who fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, spoke about him. According to her, Needham was born in England to a Zionist family and immigrated to Israel at the age of eight together with his parents and siblings. "He was so proud, and had just finished basic training. He is happy to defend the country."
Orly recounted her last phone conversation with her 19-year-old brother. A few minutes before Shabbat begins. "Everything will be fine, you don't have to worry," he said. "I told him that the whole family loved him with all my heart and was very proud of him.

"He just loved life," Orly adds. "He succeeded in everything he did, always paying maximum attention to everything." She shared his fondness for boxing with his brother. "He loved working out, hanging out with his friends. Always smiling, always happy, always loving," she said. "He fell for the sanctification of God."
