Gaza/Tel Aviv – The army is expanding its ground offensive to the entire Gaza Strip in the war in Israel. "The army operates wherever Hamas has strongholds," army spokesman Daniel Hagari said late Sunday night. Israel's military intensified its shelling of targets in the south of the Palestinian territory. The Islamist Hamas continued to fire hundreds of rockets at Israel. The Israeli army said that a large number of rockets from the Gaza Strip had been intercepted. Two of their soldiers were killed in the shelling.
