Tensions were high in the Negev capital on Tuesday morning, with the feeling that the city was once again in the crosshairs of Hamas, after two quiet weeks. At 17:00 P.M. yesterday, a rocket barrage was fired, which ended with no hits. Most thought the shooting was again a one-week occurrence, but by seven o'clock this morning, a heavy barrage was recorded and many explosions were heard.

However, the instructions of the Home Front Command have not changed, parents have been informed that classes are going on as usual, but as we have learned from similar cases in the past, not everyone is willing to take the risk when there is shooting for the second day in a row.

"Since yesterday, it was clear to me that I am not sending, it is our parents' decision whether to send or not," writes a frustrated mother, "We are in a war and the safety of our children is a top priority above all. With all the desire to return to normal, I won't take a chance on days like this," she explains.

Similar responses were recorded in quite a few parent groups: "Of course, you will make a decision. Your children, not the municipality's. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter what the municipality decides, I decided not to send the children today." Another mother wrote. Alongside the frustrated responses, many parents did not even explain, simply writing: "Today is not coming."

It is not clear what attendance in classrooms will look like, but it is already clear that there will be cases of empty classrooms, "Good luck with getting to a classroom empty of children.
It's just outrageous." Also, parents who are currently unable to take their children in their private cars are also not willing to endanger their children and send them on public transportation, "The child can't arrive at 9 and she certainly won't take the bus right now," one mother noted.

After two months of uncertainty, which already came after the holiday season, a complicated period for parents that comes straight after the long summer vacation, routine was once again on the horizon. But now the Hanukkah vacation is approaching, which at the moment does not seem to be canceled, despite the significant disadvantage of school days. The question arises: "Will the world collapse? Pedagogy is important, the resilience and safety of our children – more."
