At the Air Force Museum in Herzliya, a meeting of members of the War Management Cabinet is expected to take place today (Tuesday) at 15:00 with the families of the abductees and abductees returned from Hamas captivity. The meeting is taking place against the backdrop of renewed fighting in the Gaza Strip and the concern that this endangers the release of the remaining hostages, and after members of the families' headquarters threatened yesterday at a press conference that if the small cabinet does not meet with them "this evening," they are expected to intensify their struggle.

Among the abductees who showed up and are taking part in the meeting are Raz Ben Ami, Sharon Konyo, Yarden Roman, Yelena Tropanov and Irena Tati. The families intend to confront the cabinet members with the question: "Is the War Cabinet still committed to the release of the abductees and abductees?" At a press conference yesterday, Haim Yitzhak Or, brother of Avinatan Or, who was kidnapped from the party in Re'im, said: "We heard the testimonies of those returning from Gaza and we are frightened. The War Cabinet promised to meet with us two and a half weeks ago, and that didn't happen. Since Friday, we've been asking them to come and meet with us and tell us what's going to happen."

"Are we going back to fighting? Have the negotiations ended? We want answers. We don't know what to do anymore. If the cabinet doesn't want to meet with us, the families, then maybe the solution is to go to whoever wants to hear us, to Biden or to anyone who wants to meet with the families."

Yael Adar, mother of Tamir Adar, who was abducted from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz: "All we ask for is answers. Let them assure us that the return of the abductees is the first priority. Many of the abductees tell of horrors; one of the children told me that he ate one pita a day. Every day we receive bad news. We deserve the cabinet to meet with us, this disregard is humiliation. If the cabinet does not sit with us, we will sit at the entrance to the campus until they meet with us."
