A resident of Hasharon in his 30s refused the fact that the owner of a mini-market asked him to pay for a beer he wanted to buy before drinking it, pulled out a knife at him and started a fight with the owner. In recent days, an indictment was filed against him and a request for detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
According to the indictment filed by Attorney Superintendent Sammy Dzobas of the Central Prosecution Unit, on Friday night the defendant entered the business to drink beer and pay for it afterwards. An employee told the defendant that he had to pay for the drink first, and only then could he take it with him. In response, the defendant threw objects at him and swore at him, walked out towards the entrance of the business, pulling out a knife with a 20 cm blade that was behind his back, and while holding the knife in his hand, he turned back and approached the employee, threatening to kill him and kill him, telling him "there will be no business here anymore."

The business owner who noticed what was happening managed to stop the defendant by pushing him towards the exit, and in response the defendant slapped him, kicked his leg and tried to stab him, but the knife he was holding fell out of his hands – and the business owner threw it in the trash. While the police arrived at the scene, the defendant punched the business owner in the face. Later he was arrested, and on his way to the station he said to the policewoman: "F*** Arabs, I'll find you and your family, I promise you, wait. I remember your name, I'll find you."
In a motion for remand until the end of the proceedings, Superintendent Dzobas stated: "The defendant terrorized and intimidated him when he entered a business and sought to do his own thing with it. When this was not possible for him, he threatened to murder the workers and attacked them on the spot while holding a large knife, and did not hesitate to use it to threaten others."
