The budget law will reach the Knesset today (Wednesday), at 13:00 it will be discussed in the first reading in the plenary session and then will move on to the Finance Committee for discussion in preparation for the second and third readings.

The budget law has been at the center of the public debate in recent weeks over the many cuts, the deficit, and especially the coalition funds.
The budget that is being brought to a vote amends the 2023 budget in light of the war, and the budget demands approval for the transfer of NIS 30 billion for the war, NIS 17 billion for the military system, and NIS 13.5 billion for the civilian campaign, which includes compensation for businesses, evacuation of residents, rehabilitation of kibbutzim, payment to hotels, and more.
