In a letter to members of the War Cabinet, representatives of the families said they had received new information on the matter: "We demand that you act urgently."

Representatives of the families of the abductees claimed Wednesday morning that they had received information that the condition of two of them had deteriorated and that their lives were in immediate danger. In a letter to members of the War Cabinet, they wrote, among other things: "We demand that you act urgently, proactively and creatively to achieve a deal for the immediate release of all hostages."

The letter was accompanied by expert testimony by Prof. Hagai Levin, head of the medical delegate at the headquarters of the families of the abductees, based on testimonies, some of which were given yesterday to cabinet members in the first person from the returnees.

Of the abductees, at least a third suffer from comorbidities that require regular medical treatment. Lack of adequate treatment for these diseases often entails immediate danger to life, and in other cases the risk of irreversible complications such as stroke or heart attack.

At the same time, many abductees suffer injuries sustained during or after the abduction, including gunshot wounds, amputations of limbs, shrapnel penetration and more. Untreated injuries involve life-threatening, risk of complications and permanent disability.

The families conclude their letter: "For them, every additional day in captivity is a real danger to their lives. It is your responsibility to bring everyone home safe and sound."
