I'm so sorry I let you down, you always trusted me and I faked, faked no anxiety, faked no worries, faked everything was fine, you chose to be a hero, in fact it chose you, since you were born you brought light, it's impossible not to feel your presence, my strength, my child how beautiful you were, my beloved, our heart is broken, I don't know how we will go on with life without you, You were our compass, our light, a mother's hero, we will always remember you beautiful, complete and smiling, rest in peace of my heart, come visit us in dreams."

Maayan, Maor's sister: "How much you trained and how much you wanted to be a fighter, to give of yourself everything you could, that's how you were - all or nothing. And as always you got what you wanted, you worked hard for it and you succeeded, we had no doubt that you would excel, that you would be first in everything. Remember how in Thailand you told me in the middle of the zipline, stop being afraid, I'm with you, I'm watching over you. You protected me from everything, you said that if something happens to me, you come immediately, no matter when. You felt me at every point in my life. I refuse to believe that I will never see you again, that you will not see me under a canopy, that you will not see my children, I promise you that my son will be named after you, my hero, I love you and I have always loved, I will not stop loving, your little sister."

Maor's commander: "On Saturday, October 7, when you were called together with your battalion comrades, you showed up without hesitation, to restore quiet and security to the State of Israel, to take a significant part in the fighting, and in striving for contact in the face of the enemy, a company comrade told me that just before entering the Gaza Strip, you showed him pictures of the communities of Bari and Re'im, and talked about the importance of fighting and the justice of the road, your friends will remember you as a special person, I was always the first on the mission, and you always took care of your friends and those around you, first and foremost, the spirit of volunteerism and striving for contact has always characterized you, even in the last activity."
