Acting Eilat District Police Chief Superintendent Moshe Karadi: "The very fact that we gather together, to light the candles, bring the light and intensify it from day to day during the eight days of the holiday, creates cohesion and unity – between family, friends, and in our case between the police and the community. The cohesion and unity that our people need these days more than ever – because each of us is a small light and together we are all a steadfast light. A strong light only through it can we fight the darkness and increase the light."
