Millions of Jews around the world who gathered Thursday night in their homes to light the first candle of Hanukkah and pray for great light and miracles, especially this year due to the fierce fighting, was joined by singer Pink who came to spread light in the fulfillment of the mitzvah, but unfortunately encountered a pro-Palestinian attack along the way.

Pink (born Alicia Beth Moore) shared a video of lighting the first candle with her two children to her 10.4 million Instagram followers while wearing a handkerchief and greeting in Hebrew while her daughter lit the candles.

"Happy Hanukkah to everyone celebrating," Pink greeted in the text accompanying the video. "May there always be light in the darkness. May there be peace in our hearts, in our homes and in the world," she wished.

Alongside thousands who reinforced her words and returned her warm greetings, there were also pro-Palestinian web surfers who took advantage of the post to oppose her remarks, with one comment particularly prominent and also receiving a response from Pink.

"There's nothing wrong with being Jewish or living," wrote a pro-Palestinian user, "There's something wrong with not having empathy for the ongoing genocide and not having the grace to celebrate privately when the world is hurting."

Pink did not ignore the harsh words written by the user and replied: "It's not clear to me how being Jewish is the same as lacking empathy. I'm not sure what's on Hanukkah other than Hanukkah. There is no logic in your words," she wrote, backed up by dozens of users who supported her remarks. "Shame on you," they wrote to the user who spoke out against her. "Maybe we should cancel Christmas or any other celebration?" raged another. "Ignore the haters and keep spreading light," others wrote.

"Empathic Jews have paused their celebrations or celebrate privately as they march for humanity," the angry user chose to reply to anyone who attacked her comment. "I congratulate them and congratulate you," she tagged Fink, adding, "I hope you can pray for the thousands of Palestinians who were killed and are still waiting for their deaths as you celebrate."

Towards the end of October, the singer posted a long post in which she expressed unequivocal support for the Israeli side in the "iron swords" war and condemned the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. "Hamas is a terrorist organization that seeks to exterminate Jews. Apart from Jews, they also murder and oppress women, the LGBT community and opponents of the Hamas regime," she wrote.
