At the beginning of November, Heino's wife Hannelore died unexpectedly. Now the pop star is approaching his first birthday after this heavy loss.
Kitzbühel – On November 8, Heino lost the love of his life. His wife Hannelore (†81) suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. How difficult life is for him without his companion, the pop star has already made clear several times. Now he is facing his first birthday after the loss. However, Heino is hardly in a celebratory mood.
First birthday after Hannelore's death: This is how Heino spends his 85th birthday.
Despite the sadness, the musician has already returned to the stage. At his first concert after Hannelore's death, Heino burst into tears. On December 13, he faces another difficult day: The singer will be 85 years old and will have to celebrate the new year of his life without Hannelore. Under the current circumstances, he doesn't want a big celebration.
Between his performances in Graz in Austria and Bad Oeynhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Heino has his birthday. In an interview with the German Press Agency, the Düsseldorf native talks about the celebrations for his special day. "I will spend my birthday with loved ones in the smallest of circles and wish myself continued good health," says Heino in an interview.
Will Heino never be the same again after Hannelore's death?
Heino recently spoke openly about his grief with Bild am Sonntag. "Of course I'm more than sad," he stressed. It will therefore take a long time before he "returns to normal form" - if at all. "With Hannelore, a part of me also died," the artist admits and said: "I miss everything about Hannelore, her kindness and her idiosyncrasies."

Heino himself also experienced a shock a few days ago. He almost got involved in an accident: Heino had a car accident on the motorway – but Hannelore was his guardian angel. Sources used: German Press Agency; Picture on Sunday
