Comedian Pierre Arditi has fallen victim to a new malaise on stage, according to BFMTV and Le Parisien. The artist, who was performing his performance of Lapin at the Théâtre Édouard VII in Paris, was taken to the Lariboisière hospital, according to BFMTV.
On September 27, the 79-year-old actor fainted on the stage of the Edward VII Theatre, about twenty minutes after the start of the performance of the same play, written and directed by Samuel Benchetrit. The performance of this highly anticipated play of the cultural season was immediately interrupted. Briefly hospitalized, Pierre Arditi was rested for a week and returned to the stage on 4 October. But in mid-October, the comedian felt "tired" and the decision was made to cancel the performance again until November 8.
