Powder that is foundation
Maybelline's Super Stay Powder guarantees resistance for up to 24 hours – to water, sweat and moisture, and the company says it gives a smooth look with a matte finish – as light as powder but as protective as makeup, the ad claims. Powder has 4 shades – we tried the lightest one as an under-eye powder, but it was too dark for this purpose and didn't fit well enough between the grooves. As a foundation it did better – combined with a damp sponge (not the one attached to the product) and a brush it reached a good matte cover, but got into the pores and created a look that was not smooth enough, lasting about six to seven hours. In general, it is difficult to achieve very good results with powder that is foundation, but compared to other products in this field – it does a reasonable job, especially in terms of coverage.

I put on a blush
Katris with two new makeup products: Pure False Lash Mascara and Cheek Flirt Stick Blush. The mascara has a deep black tint and curved fiber brush to create a long, full lash look, and the company says it's waterproof. The stick comes in three shades, with no glitter particles for easy application. We tested: mascara does create the appearance of long, rounded eyelashes, but unlike waterproof mascara, part of it is applied to our eyelid during the day and left marks. The stick has an intense, pigmented pink hue and is more stiff than soft. It applied well mainly with a brush, blurred well and created a flushed and natural color on the cheek, which also managed to stay there throughout the day.

From three comes out clean
A new skin cleansing line from PAYOT offers facial milk, micellar water and toner. The cleansing lotion is applied to the skin and massaged with fingers, and it gently washes makeup and dirt off the face. Then use cotton wool and micellar water to clean the remaining makeup, mainly from the eyelashes and around the eyes, and finish with a cotton swab for a "boost" of cleanliness. The products have a delicate and pleasant scent, suitable for sensitive skin and their combination led to a clean and pleasant face, completely makeup-free and not dry at all, in which the serum and cream were absorbed great.

Cheeky sting
British fashion house Pepe Jeans launches a women's perfume - London BRIGHT, which opens with tangerine notes and a fresh touch of pear ginger. The heart of the perfume is joined by a white peony, with a base of ceramic sandalwood, patchouli and musk. It is a sweet and fruity smell combined with a little floral, bright and cheerful, light with a cheeky sting. The tangerine and pear in it are definitely noticeable and combine a little sourness. Later, the musk and patchouli develop and add depth to the fragrance. Suitable for everyday or summer evenings.

Easy application
Jade's new foundation, Long-Wear Foundation #ULTRAMATTE, ensures up to 24 hours of resistance to sweat and moisture. The texture is velvety, matte and easily applied to the face with both a brush and a sponge. Its coverage is subtle and can be built to medium, but the undertone of the foundation we tried (pink – the lightest) was a bit too overbearing when we built another layer of cover, and we were generally happy for more than its six shades. The foundation lasted on my face for about seven hours. If you managed to match the color of your skin – you won a pretty good foundation.
