Israel Hayom mobilizes on behalf of residents of the south and north whose livelihoods have been harmed by the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.Today, the "Fair of Light" will open in support of business owners in the conflict line areas, in cooperation with the Or movement and the Rashi Foundation. The festive event will take place at the Menora Mivtachim sports arena in Tel Aviv, and will continue on Monday and Tuesday (December 11 and 12).

At the center of the fair are stalls selling small businesses in a variety of fields: from food and local produce, through fruits and vegetables to toys, handicrafts, textiles and fashion. The stalls were allocated to participating business owners free of charge, and the general public is invited to rejoice during the holiday, express mutual guarantee and enjoy the produce and goods at attractive prices.

In addition, the fair will have a special children's area that will include creative corners and games. Every evening we will celebrate together with a traditional candle lighting on the occasion of Hanukkah.

The Or movement, which participates in the event, works to develop and settle the Negev and Galilee and turn them into national growth engines and independent centers - a magnet for the population seeking quality of life and opportunities for self-realization and values in Israel.

During the fair, the audience and surfers of "Israel Hayom" will be able to take part in the "Questionnaire of Tomorrow of the State of Israel". In this way, they will be able to share their thoughts and aspirations about the future of the country following the complex period that its citizens have been going through over the past two months. The questionnaire is anonymous, the answers will be collected by representatives of the Or movement, and the results will be published later in Israel Hayom.

Partnership opportunity

"The fair is an expression of Israeli society's ability to get through unbearable times together. This is an opportunity to come and support businesses and settlers, to take part in the continuation of the establishment of the state, to restore sanity to our lives and to shine anew," said Ronnie Palmer, founder and CEO of the Or movement.

Another partner in the project, under whose auspices the children's activities will take place, is "Circle of Women Israel". This is an international voluntary organization that aims to encourage young women from different cultures, religions and backgrounds and to increase their involvement and contribution in community activities.

Since the outbreak of the war, "Circle of Women Israel" has been operating as a civilian war room for the soldiers and the evacuated families, and its activities include, inter alia, purchasing and transporting equipment, fundraising, visits to the wounded, activities for children in hotels and even holding weddings and events.

Fair opening hours: Sunday - 19:00-13:00, Monday and Tuesday - 18:00-10:00. The entrance of the public is free!

The fair will take place according to Home Front Command guidelines and in safe spaces and is limited to 1,000 participants at a given time

Payment to the booths will be possible in cash, Paybox or Bit • Some of the booths will accept credit cards.
