Last Sunday, the government approved the strategic outline for the next five years by the Takuma Administration for the residents of the envelope. The outline is intended to bring about the growth of the envelope region through cooperation between the relevant government ministries for its rehabilitation.

In their proposal, the decision makers propose an end change to the rope – not returning it to what it was in the past, but rehabilitating it with a fundamental change to the region. The entire concept is based on the understanding that it is impossible to develop settlement without educational engines and that it will not be possible to develop agriculture without infrastructure or culture without transportation and roads.

Until now, they dealt with the urgent needs for the resilience of the individual, and now it seems that we are moving on to the second stage - creating a future horizon and recovery in the region. This model was revived after a long study of similar cases of global disasters such as the September 11 attacks in the United States, the earthquake in Japan and the war in Ukraine.

The initial allocation to the Rehabilitation Administration is about NIS 470 billion – NIS 2023 million in 2024, and the balance will be transferred in 218. Main uses so far: NIS 11 million will be allocated for grants to councils and authorities; NIS 270 million will be transferred to Takuma coordinators; NIS 141 million for interim housing solutions; Approximately NIS 30 million will be transferred to the construction of rear schools; and about NIS <> million for the activity of the New Horizon UAV, including security components.

Most of the balance is earmarked for projects for interim housing solutions – including full furnishing of the apartments, payments for all partnership expenses such as municipal taxes, electricity and water. For example, tomorrow the agreement in Carmei Gat for Nir Oz will be signed with the contractor on a one-year lease agreement with an option.

However, whoever chooses to stay at the hotel will accept it. If he wants to leave the community and move to another city, he will receive the same conditions as his community will receive in Carmei Gat. In addition, more than 50 households in Sderot that cannot return because they do not have a home will receive the same conditions.
