The IDF allowed the release of recordings from the communications voices of the Commander of the Air Force, Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, from his operational flight. In addition, contact voices were published by the commander of the 98th Division, Brigadier General Dan Goldfus, and the commander of Battalion 2855, Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Uri.
Yesterday, the IAF commander carried out a flight and attack from a combat helicopter in cooperation with and under the direction of the forces of the 98th Division and the 55th Brigade. At the same time, a terrorist infrastructure was attacked, resulting in the death of Maj. (res.) Gideon Ilani, a soldier in Battalion 2855, the "Spearhead" Brigade.

As part of the operational operation, the senior commanders spoke on the radio, discussed the use of aerial fire between the forces, and conveyed to them their assessment of their actions so far.

"The commander of the air force, here is a senior commander, asking for firing in my favor at the window on the top floor," said thecommander of Battalion 2855, Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Uri. "The last line of my forces, the soldiers of the company fought in exactly this area and here they encountered a dirty enemy that we are now coming to destroy and who killed our friend Gideon Ilani, whose memory is blessed. Here is a senior apex, the fire of the end."
Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar replied: "Gideon Ilani, his memory is a blessing. Together with you in everything. Keep it up."

Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Uri: "The commander here is a senior commander, thank you very much."
Later, the commander of theair forceis heard saying: "May I live."
The commander of the 98th Division, Brigadier General Dan Goldfus,said after the attack: "The commander of the brigade here is the commander of the generals. You are in great shape. Where are you hanging over your head?"
Air Force Commander: "I'm here west of you, everything looks smokey, looks like a proper combat zone. Confident that you are attacking hard forward and fulfilling the mission. We are here above you at your service, with 55."
98th Division Commander: "It's always good that you're above us. We are confident with you when you are above us, know how to do the work together in an extraordinary way. Thank you to everyone above us 24/7."
Fighters of the 55th Brigade's combat team have been fighting for over a week in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, raiding terrorist targets and fighting Hamas terrorists. As part of an encounter in the area, shots were fired at the forces, killing Maj. (res.) Gideon Ilani.
