The IDF Spokesperson's Office on Wednesday morning permitted the publication of the names of ten additional fallen IDF soldiers whose families had been notified. Nine of the ten fighters who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip, whose names were made public this morning, were killed last night in a fierce battle in the Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Among the fallen were Lt. Col. Tomer Greenberg, 35, from Almog, commander of Battalion 13, Golani Greenberg Brigade, and Colonel Yitzhak Ben Basht, 44, from Sde Yaakov, commander of Golani Brigade Commander, Golani Brigade.
