This is a young couple whose son was born in Hadassah on Mount Scopus, and during the preparations for the alliance they asked the hospital management to hold the covenant there in order to grant the father's uncle the right to serve as godfather. Hadassah's management immediately acceded to the request and provided everything required for the success of the event.

On the morning of joy, the extended family gathered at the hospital, and the excited uncle came from the rehabilitation ward to the covenant hall, using crutches due to his medical condition. Also participating in the alliance was the baby's great-grandfather, 95-year-old Staff Sgt. Ezra Yachin, the oldest reservist serving in the IDF. The happy great-grandfather proudly arrived in his reserve uniform straight from the IDF assembly grounds, where he operates as part of his service, in a dialogue with fighters about Zionism, the legacy of battle and his personal experience in Israel's wars, fighting and revival.
