Highlights: British Foreign Secretary David Cameron announced a new sanctions policy against Iran on Thursday. Among the main figures to be imposed are the leader of the IRGC's Quds Force and other figures linked to Islamic Jihad and Hamas. The reason for imposing the sanctions is the involvement of their targets in hostile activity supported by the Iranian government, and in consistent activity related to threats, planning, or intent to destabilize Israel. Britain's existing export restrictions on UAV components will be tightened.
