On Wednesday, December 13, a new complaint was filed against the radio host. This comes a month after the first complaint was filed, on November 18.

Sébastien Cauet, 51, is now the target of four complaints, from four different women, for acts of "rape" and "sexual assault", Le Figaro has learned. A fourth woman filed a complaint on Wednesday, December 13 for "sexual assault". She was heard by the brigade for the protection of minors of the Paris judicial police, the lawyer of this fourth plaintiff, Anne-Claire Le Jeune, told us, confirming a report by Le Parisien.

In a statement, Sébastien Cauet's lawyers reacted by stressing that they reaffirmed "the falsity of the accusations against Sébastien Cauet and the concerted company that motivates them". "We have, on multiple occasions, called for the utmost caution on allegations of crimes or offenses incriminating Sébastien Cauet published or broadcast, often in defiance of the presumption of innocence and sometimes without much discernment," it also said.

'Slanderous denunciation'

A first complaint against the host was filed on 18 November. The complainant, now 25, accuses the host of rapes, one of which was allegedly committed in Geneva in 2014, when she was 16. The incident allegedly took place during a meeting with the host. He allegedly asked her for oral sex, which she agreed to do against her will after an initial refusal.

Following this first complaint, the host had "firmly contested" the facts, via a press release from his lawyer, Simon Clémenceau. Then he announced on Monday, November 27, through his lawyers, that he had filed a complaint with the Nanterre prosecutor's office for "slanderous denunciation, attempted extortion by an organized gang, forgery and use against unnamed persons."

The investigation, initially opened on the basis of the first complaint filed on 18 November at the Bourg-en-Bresse prosecutor's office, is now in the hands of the Paris prosecutor's office.
