Will Israel open a new front in the north? In the Gaza Strip, the country is putting maximum pressure on Hamas in the hope of cracking it as soon as possible. But he already has his sights set on Lebanon, where Hezbollah, a powerful Shiite militia, has intensified its attacks since the start of the war.
In the Galilee and the Golan, anti-tank missiles and rockets are fired daily. Alarm sirens sometimes sound far from the combat zone, as in Acre on 12 December. Near the border, attacks are multiplying: the towns of Metula, Kiryat Shmona, Maalot are regularly targeted.
