A 16-year-old boy was seriously wounded in the eye by a buckshot shot from the street in Clichy-sous-Bois while he was at the window of his apartment on Sunday evening, AFP learned Monday (December 18th) from police sources. At around 22:30 p.m., this young resident of the Chêne-Pointu neighborhood in Clichy-sous-Bois, in the east of the Seine-Saint-Denis department, heard detonations in the street, approached the window and was targeted by a hooded gunman, a police source said.
He suffered seven lead impacts to the chest and one to the eye, the source said. The minor is still hospitalized for treatment and awaiting surgery, another police source said, adding that it was a shot from buckshot. According to Le Parisien, he is in danger of losing the use of his eye. The investigation, entrusted to the Clichy-sous-Bois police station, is intended to clarify the circumstances of the events that occurred in the street and led to the teenager's injuries.
