Ayala Mizrahi, head of Kan's Regulation and Projects Division, has been tweeting derogatory tweets in recent years, especially in the weeks since the events of October 7, against ministers of the incumbent government, and not only, despite her being a public servant • The corporation said in response: "We do not intend to snoop on the private accounts of our people."

Ayala Mizrahi, head of the regulation and projects division of the Israeli Kan Broadcasting Corporation, who is considered a public servant, has been presenting a continuous line of tweets over the past year and a half against the ministers of the current government and anyone who supports it. Among other things, she recently wrote to Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar: "The blood is on your hands."

As is well known, the role of a regulator in a public corporation, among other things, is to safeguard the interests of the body he represents. In the case of public broadcasting that is under constant threat from politicians and interested parties, the tool of the regulator is his relations with decision makers, politicians and senior officials. At the Kan Public Broadcasting Corporation, the position is filled by the head of the Mizrahi Regulation Division, which was appointed by the previous CEO, Eldad Koblenz.

Mizrahi came to the corporation during its establishment stages and served as coordinator of the tenders committee. She was then promoted to chief of staff to the then CEO of the Koblenz Broadcasting Corporation. She was Koblenz's right-hand man, who later appointed her head of regulation, just before he was ousted by the Corporation Council. Since his ouster, it seems that she has become Chairman Gil Omer's right-hand man despite past events.

Looking at her Twitter account, you can see that most of the responses include lashing out at sitting Knesset members, government ministers, ultra-Orthodox Jews, and anyone who supports the government. "It's not real that you're the education minister and that I'm supposed to send children to the education system under your responsibility," Mizrahi wrote to Education Minister Yoav Kish. Last April, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called Mizrahi "the greatest racist," while Constitution Committee Chairman Simcha Rotman wrote, "Who is your brother?!"

Likewise, to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Mizrahi wrote, "A clown (among others) who appointed him," and to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for writing that he condemns Galit Gutman's ugly and inciting statement against the ultra-Orthodox public in Israel..." Mizrahi writes to him with the question, "Did you also condemn the attack in Harish?"

Mizrahi recently tweeted about issues related to the events of 7/10 and wrote in response to Culture Minister Miki Zohar, "Why are you tweeting, you bunch of irresponsible, start working already dead people in the south and the blood is on your hands." In another tweet, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called him a "Nazi and war criminal."

Among other things, she responded to the UN secretary-general's tweet by writing to him, "You are a nazi and a war criminal."

Mizrahi does not hesitate to attack the ultra-Orthodox public either. Journalist Avraham Greenzaig tweeted, "Who would have thought that in our country of such a high-quality frontier people, a man without maturity would be given the mandate to form a government..." Mizrahi replied, "Who would have thought that a minority of people have been living at the expense of the majority for 70 years under the auspices of the state and living our agenda." To ultra-Orthodox journalist Yishai Cohen, she wrote, "Your audacity is something." Mizrahi also wrote that anyone "who does not condemn yeshiva students should not condemn pilots." In response to Shimon Racklin.

The Public Broadcasting Corporation said in response: "The Israel Broadcasting Corporation does not intend to rummage through the private social media accounts of candidates for positions in the organization, and choose them according to political position. It is surprising that the media, in this case Israel Hayom, is taking part in this kind of persecution."

Education Minister Yoav Kish, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar declined to comment.
