Sir Winston Churchill's office, a bastion of the British army during the Second World War, a den of spies... This legendary Baroque building from the Edwardian era opens a new chapter in its history at the end of 2023. After six years of restoration, the famous 'OWO' ('Old War Office') in London has been transformed into a refined hotel and is now home to a Guerlain spa, the very first of its kind in the UK. This 2500 square metre setting spread over four floors contains a 20-metre swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna, a gym and nine cabins where state-of-the-art treatments are provided. On the menu, three exclusives including the Royal Glow Tech Facial, a facial treatment combining microdermabrasion and light therapy. There are also great classics, such as a four-hand massage with the scents of Eau de Cologne Impériale, or a regenerating treatment with black orchid. The beauty treatment can be extended to the Atelier Guerlain, a salon where you can get your hair, make-up or perfume done by the fire. V.H.
