Despite the details that were published, including documentation of NGO operatives inside the Gaza Strip, various sources in the Defense Ministry, the government and COGAT told Israel Hayom that "we have no ability to monitor or stop the cooperation taking place between the UN, which is responsible for distributing aid and Hamas' charitable organizations."
In contrast to the evasion of government officials, Yisrael Beiteinu Party Chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman addressed the exposure of the newspaper and attacked Israel's cooperation with the UN, which sponsors the activities of charitable organizations in the Gaza Strip: "The UN makes a decision to expand the aid, but seven charitable organizations that Israel has declared terrorist organizations are involved in providing humanitarian aid."

Dalia Lemkos' mother, Brenda Lemkos, said that "both the political and military echelons must internalize that saving Hamas' civilian system is a necessary part of the mission. We demand answers and the government is silent."
She added: "After October 7, the days when such things could be ignored are over. The list of failures in this war is long enough and there is no need to add to it."
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said: "There are those who are still captive to the concept and are trying to disguise the entry of goods into Gaza as humanitarian aid to the population. If we needed more proof that Hamas controls the trucks entering Gaza, here it is. I will demand a discussion in the cabinet about how Hamas and its 'charitable associations' control trucks, contrary to statements by senior Israeli officials."
