At this hour, Staff Sergeant Birhanu Kasia, 22, from Beit Shemesh, who served as a soldier in the Givati Patrol, is laid to rest. Kasia was killed when an IED exploded in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday. At the time of his death, he was survived by his parents and seven sisters.
