Next year, the world's most expensive sushi restaurant will open in Miami. Not necessarily because the dishes themselves will cost a fortune (but make no mistake, they won't be cheap), but because just registering for the place, a kind of "membership card" without which it will not be possible to enter the prestigious culinary institution - will cost customers no less than $10,000. And no, we didn't add one or two zeros by mistake.

Meet URA, a 158-square-foot complex that will launch, if all goes according to plan, in downtown Miami next summer. Behind the project are two brothers named Samuel and Jose Tahrasi, who recruited the famous Japanese sushi artist Hidefumi Namb, who left Tokyo to head the exclusive kitchen in the United States.

Ora will contain, at least initially, two complexes: the "Sushi Namba" restaurant (which will actually be an extension of the chef's iconic location in Tokyo, with only eight seats), as well as the first American branch of the famous izakaya (Japanese bar) "Cocktailante Oboroa", run by Namba's friend, Shunta Yamakawa, who serves visitors meticulous fruit-based alcoholic concoctions.

The big and small print: For the right to enter the complex, as mentioned, wealthy people in Miami and the surrounding area will have to part with 10,000 greens on a one-time basis, in return for which they will receive a seat around the table – with the owners offering this right to only 300 happy people. First come first serve. And what about the actual food? The full menu has not yet been revealed as there is still a vision for the date, but at the moment it can be said that a Japanese omaxa feast, which will include about seven openings and 15 premium sushi dishes, will cost between $400 and $500 per person. Each piece of nigiri, the owners promise, will be made up of sea materials and rice at just the right temperature (24 and 40 degrees Celsius respectively), while the Namba chef will choose fresh ingredients and ingredients from the Japanese capital's reputable Toyosu fish market three times a week. Worth the investment? Depending on how many followers you have on Instagram, who will see you hanging out there...
