December 25 is ideal for watching a Christmas movie. On platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video or HBO Max there are a lot of them, and that is why it can be difficult to find one that is of quality.
The following list supports any time of the day, as well as all types of viewers. They are recommended for people from 0 to 100 years old.

Klaus (2019)

A Spanish animated film that, quietly, became the best thing in recent years when it comes to Christmas.
Its protagonist is Jesper, an inexperienced postman who is sent to the distant town of Smeerensburg, where people live at odds and, they say, Santa Claus is hiding.

Scrooge's Ghosts (2009)
Scrooge's Ghosts, a 2009 film about "A Christmas Carol," starring Jim Carrey.
Robert Zemeckis' The Ghosts of Scrooge is, perhaps, the last worthwhile adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel.
In it, as in the dozens of adaptations, the story is that of Ebenezer Scrooge, an unpleasant man who is called to reflection when he is visited by the spirit of Christmas past, present and future.
Although it is animated, it has the added bonus of having the performances of Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman and Colin Firth (Zemeckis used the same animation technique as The Polar Express).

Operation Gift (2011)
Operation Gift. About Santa's son.
The knot of Operation Gift is untied when one of the millions of children Santa Claus was supposed to visit doesn't receive his Christmas present.
This Golden Globe-nominated animated film features the voices of James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, and Bill Nighy, among others.

Le pupille was nominated for the Oscar for Best Fiction Short Film.
Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher's look at the world is always interesting.
Le pupille, a sweet and tender 38-minute medium-length film, takes us back to Christmas in a specific period and place: an Italian Catholic boarding school during World War II.
This sweet Oscar-nominated medium-length film follows a naughty girl's relationship with her other companions and the Mother Superior.
