The change at the top of the Stadthalle is a done deal.
Erding – With much applause and words of praise, the Erding city council bid farewell to Jutta Kistner as managing director of Stadthallen Erding GmbH. Her successor has now been chosen – Daniel Strowitzki from Freiburg.
At the Dämmerschoppen, traditionally the end of the year for the city council and the administration, Mayor Max Götz said goodbye to Kistner. She came to Erding in 2011 as the successor of Hermann Herrndobler from Rosenheim.
Götz paid tribute to her twelve years at Alois-Schießl-Platz. She has developed the facility well. "Even if we didn't always agree, you used your freedoms, but never used them," Götz said. Kistner had resigned in the spring of 2023, but wanted to stay in Erding until a successor was found.
His name is Daniel Strowitzki. The handover is scheduled for 15 January. Strowitzki comes from Breisgau and was head of the "Freiburg Wirtschaft, Touristik & Messe" until July of this year. According to media reports, they parted ways because of differences. According to the LinkedIn portal, he is also Managing Director of Baden-Württemberg Expo Dubai 2020 GmbH.
The search dragged on. According to information from our newspaper, there was almost an agreement with a hall manager from Cham until she backed down. It will be exciting to see how Strowitzki will solve the current gastronomy problem of the Stadthalle. Ham
