Javier Milei published his first Christmas message as Argentine President. The leader of La Libertad Avanza said on social media that the country is going through "the beginning of a new era" and shared a photo of him as a child with his sister, Karina Milei, current Secretary General of the presidency, with a Christmas tree in the background.

"Happy holidays to all Argentines," Milei headlined. He added: "I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to wish you a Christmas Eve with your family and have a merry Christmas tomorrow."
