The co-secretary general of the CGT responded to the "Don't see it" campaign that the president joined on social media. Regarding Wednesday's march to the courts and the security operation, he said: "You don't have to buy the show." He did not rule out a strike.

Héctor Daer, co-secretary general of the CGT, crossed Javier Milei for his criticism of the opposition. He did so when asked about the slogan "They don't see it," which the president and his followers hold on social media. "The president came out with adjectives, and Argentina is not for adjectives or ironies," he remarked hours before the march of the workers' federation to the courts against the presidential decree.

Daer spoke as he entered Congress, where the special session began on Tuesday. There he was asked about the mobilization that the General Confederation of Labor will make and if he is afraid of the operation of the Ministry of Security, after the premiere of the anti-picketing protocol.

"Scared? No! How can he be afraid?" the former congressman reacted. "You don't have to buy the show of putting on the Gendarmerie, putting this on... The Argentine is not for this, he is not for tensions," he objected, looking at the national government.

Later, he was asked about the "Don't see her" campaign, which is being carried out by pro-government militants on social media and which Milei joined in the last few hours.

"

Who doesn't see it? The opposition? The President came out with adjectives. Argentina is not for adjectives or ironies," he replied to the head of state.

He continued: "The country is in a serious situation, we are going through a very severe adjustment. From the President to us, we all have to be absolutely serious about taking and going through these grave moments."

Héctor Daer did not rule out a strike, although he made it subject to "timing and strategy"

Regarding the mobilization, he anticipated that "a plan of struggle" will be analyzed with a specific objective: "That the DNU does not follow its course." In this sense, he did not rule out a strike, although he made it subject to a broader strategy.

"The rest are instruments to achieve that goal. The workers' movement has to adapt the timing, strategy and tactics to achieve the objective," Daer explained about the strike demanded by some sectors of the movement, a measure that the CGT has not yet established.

Daer himself had said last week, just before the call for Wednesday's march, that "there is a climate for a strike."

He also elaborated on the call for protests for this Wednesday.

The co-head of the CGT was asked about the possibility of organizing a strike, to which he replied that "it will be part of the analysis" and defined it as an "instrument to achieve the objective."

"We are going to go to court, we are going to tell the courts that we made a presentation founded with the signature of prestigious jurists and that we want that request to be granted. Of course, while the question of form lasts (we want that) the scope of the DNU be suspended and that from there the necessary treatment for the unconstitutionality is made," said the health trade unionist.

Daer remarked that "all unconstitutionality ends up in the Court," although he also asked to wait because, he said, "now Justice has the floor."

"And so does Parliament. Let's make that clear. These issues of comptroller of the Executive can be done all year round, it is not necessary to be in ordinary session. The comptroller's work is permanent," he added about the claims at the beginning of the extraordinary sessions, with an agenda set by the Casa Rosada and which excludes the terms of the decree.
