A massive brawl broke out last night in the center of Casalpusterlengo (Lodi) involving about fifty young people between 16 and 20 years old.
The scuffle broke out after a group of young people tried to steal a mobile phone from a young man who was in Piazza del Popolo with several friends.
The attackers seem to have organized themselves by bringing chains with them, then the quarrel moved nearby, in via Cavallotti. Car traffic has also come to a standstill as a result of the unrest. When police and rescue services arrived, the young people, mostly foreigners, fled, although some were injured.
A sixteen-year-old and an eighteen-year-old were left on the ground, taken by 118 to the emergency room in Lodi. Medicated, they were discharged after a few hours.
