The former president and his wife entered the Santander bank located at 57 Calle de Serrano, in the exclusive neighborhood of Salamanca, Madrid, at <>:<> p.m. In the video, Fernandez and Fabiola are seen carrying out a procedure at the bank, in one of the customer service boxes.
As Clarín was able to confirm, Fernández did not have any special treatment and even took an appointment like other clients. The bank that attended him asked for his personal information and explained what they needed to open an account.

It was Alberto himself who announced last Wednesday, December 21, on his X account that he was boarding a Aerolíneas Argentinas flight to Spain. Hours earlier, on the same day that he left for Madrid, he also used his social networks to criticize Javier Milei's DNU.

The former president's departure from the Casa Rosada was tinged with controversy. On the last day of his term, December 9, he published a highly questioned DNU in which he decreed that the state should guarantee security custody as a former president outside the country for life.
The measure included former vice presidents and their immediate family members and removed the Federal Police from that custody, putting everything in the hands of Casa Militar.
