For the second time that night (between Thursday and Friday), the Syrian army announced another Israeli attack, allegedly in the Damascus area.
According to the Syrian army, Israel attacked targets in the south of the country and the air defense systems managed to shoot down most of the missiles. It added that the strike left only destruction at the site and no injuries were reported.
Previously, Syria reported that Damascus airport had been shut down again due to the attack attributed to Israel, after it had resumed operations from a day's shutdown due to a previous attack against it.
Syrian TV reported last night on the Israeli attack near Damascus. In addition, a radio station affiliated with the Assad regime reported that air defense systems were activated over the capital after a series of explosions.
According to reports in Syria, another target in the Israeli attack was a radar station in the Sweida province in the south of the country.
