The indictment charges Yifrah with theft of weapons, transportation of weapons and ammunition, possession of weapons and ammunition, fraudulent receipt under aggravated circumstances, and theft under special circumstances.

The indictment states that the aggravating circumstances are reflected in the fact that "during the state of emergency in which the State of Israel finds itself, the defendant presented himself as a combatant and holds positions in security agencies and special units, in order to steal weapons, ammunition and equipment on a considerable scale, all while detracting from the weapons system of the IDF and the police."

At the end of the investigation conducted by the Police Investigation Department, the four were released to house arrest and at the same time the officer was removed from police activity. A decision on their case will be made later. Following developments in the investigation, a joint investigation team of the DIP and the police was established.
