Model Natalie Dadon on Wednesday sought to address the not-so-disapproving comments she received under a video of her commercial collaboration with a website that offers personal design and jewelry restoration. In a reply post to all those who complained, she chose to celebrate her sacrifice and her livelihood for the sake of Israeli hasbara, and did not apologize for having to bring money home.

"You said you were focused on the war, and you asked us to follow. Are you back in sales? "So after we've gained millions of followers from advocacy in favor of Israel, we can start making money from ads," another follower added sarcastically. "I should and succeed, but don't use the hardship of war to gain followers who will then like advertising for personal money," she was reprimanded.
This, as mentioned, led Dadon to devote an entire post to the subject. "I was heartbroken by these reactions, broken for a moment, nothing more," Natalie said. "I've already learned that there will always be those, and that's okay. I'm not going to apologize for making a living. I haven't stolen from anyone yet, nor am I the story here. This narrow view is harmful to us as a people. Let's leave aside the logical detail that in order to continue volunteering, among other things, you also have to make a living. It's okay and even desirable that if it turns you on and it's jarring to you, take down a follower, please."

She went on to describe her great work and the risk she took in undermining the popularity of her page for the country. "For two years I've been in public relations without any compensation, no body behind me. My page is entirely dedicated to the people of Israel. A little secret: millions of followers would have arrived faster through bikinis and their livelihoods would not have been affected. And what bothers people is a post that both promotes blue and white businesses and can provide a little oxygen at times when we are all hurting financially. I embrace, truly, even the less good, and I long for days of illuminating and welcoming discourse, certainly after what we went through," she concluded.
