Dina, an emergency room nurse at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, did not see her husband N., a doctor in Unit 669, for a week. While she treats those arriving at the hospital emergency room, N. treats those wounded in the fighting in Gaza. Each of them is on a different front, treating the sick and wounded, but they rarely meet.

This week, they had an unplanned meeting. Dina says: "I arrived early for work to visit a family member before her shift. I spoke with Tali, the trauma coordinator at Shaare Zedek, and she told me that a helicopter with 7 wounded people would arrive at the medical center. I immediately asked her if we could come and help and she said yes. N., my husband, is deep in the field and treats the war wounded non-stop."

"By chance, this time he came with the helicopter to Shaare Zedek, and I happened to be. As a complete surprise we met together, after a whole week of not seeing each other. Each of us works a different front, and we rarely see each other. To see you like this as a surprise in the middle of each of our work was a very exciting moment and a great boost of encouragement and strength. I wish and pray that we will meet again soon in our home and that all the soldiers will be safe and sound."
