During the past 24 hours IDF forces carried out a series of attacks by anti-tank squads of Hamas terrorists. The forces also located long-range rocket launchers in the heart of the al-Bureij camp.
In Khan Yunis, an IAF aircraft, under the direction of the 4th Brigade combat team, eliminated three terrorists who were trying to plant an IED among our forces. The fighters killed two other terrorists who were hiding in a nearby building. In addition, a fighter jet attacked a weapons depot belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the city area.

During the forces' activity in the area, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at a force from the 7th Brigade Combat Team. A short time later, under the direction of the brigade, IAF aircraft attacked the anti-tank position from which the missile was launched and the terrorist squad in the position. An Israeli Air Force fighter jet attacked a military building belonging to the terrorist organization, including an anti-tank operative of the Deir al-Balah Battalion. In addition, two buildings to which terrorists fled were attacked and large quantities of weapons were removed. Subsequently, an aircraft eliminated another terrorist who had gone to the buildings in an attempt to search for weapons in the area.

In Al Bureij, during an operational activity of the Golani Brigade combat team, the fighters located long-range rocket launchers in the heart of the camp. Israeli naval forces continue to attack in support of the forces maneuvering along the Gaza Strip coastline. In cooperation between the naval, air and ground forces, the naval forces eliminated terrorists who ambushed the forces in the Gaza Strip, under the precise guidance of the ground forces.
