Defense Minister Yoav Galant toured the Gaza Strip border today and observed the fighting taking place in al-Burj, in the area of the central camps. Subsequently, the Minister of Defense conducted an operational and intelligence assessment of the activity of the 36th Division forces in the area and their preparations for the continuation of the activity.

Participating in the assessment were: Maj. Gen. Itai Virov, 36th Division Commander Brigadier General Dado Bar Kalifa and other commanders.
"I have just completed a tour and observation in the Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, the forces are completing their current mission, they are redeploying with the intention of carrying out raids and airstrikes soon." The defense minister said.
"In the center of the Gaza Strip, the operation is intensive, the forces are operating above ground and underground, destroying key Hamas infrastructure, including the places where Hamas manufactured all its missiles and supplied them throughout the Gaza Strip." Gallant added.
